The benefits of having straight teeth are endless and they will improve a person’s oral health.
Getting a healthy smile doesn’t have to be a challenge and having straight teeth isn’t as hard as it used to be. How do FASTBRACES® and traditional braces compare?
With the FASTBRACES® treatment the goal is to move the crown of the tooth and its root into the desired position at the same time. This intricate procedure manipulates force and flexibility by utilizing an elbow shaped bracket on each tooth. Unlike traditional square brackets, FASTBRACES® technology combines the elbow shaped brackets with an elevated slot in order to improve the flexibility of the wire. This gives the FASTBRACES® system the ability to work substantially quicker than traditional orthodontic treatments. The convenience of faster results is so appealing to many patients who are looking to straighten their teeth and achieve a beautiful healthy smile.
FASTBRACES® are particularly appealing to children and young adults because they are concerned with how long they will have to wear their braces. With traditional braces it can take up to two years to complete the treatment and the overwhelming amount of appointments can be difficult to maintain. The process can be painful and in most cases additional time is added to the initial date of completion. The process is broken down into two stages: first, the crown is moved into the desired position, and then the root takes time to catch up. With FASTBRACES® technology we are able to move both the crown and the root at the same time making it possible for treatment to be completed much quicker.
